The Fundamental Class is where all new members start. This class MUST be completed to participate in the standard classes. I highly recommend purchasing a pair of 5-6 inch protective terry cloth wristbands. I prefer Under Armour. While learning movements you could bang the kettlebell off your wrist.  The wristbands provide protection during your learning experience.

In the Fundamental class you will learn the kettlebell the swing, which will prepare for more advanced kettlebell exercises There will also be a brief fitness tests, so you can chart your progress using our free software. By completing this class, your experience in the standard classes will be safer and much more enjoyable. You will also be ready to workout at a higher level, which will provide faster results.


Kettlebell Blitz

Prerequisite -  Completion of Fundamentals Levels 1-2

Kettlebell Blitz is the anchor class of Michigan Kettlebells. You will thoroughly prepare your body for the workout with calisthenics,  joint mobility drills and the dynamic warm-up. You will increase your overall strength and your cardio capacity. You will be using kettlebells, bodyweight exercises, strong man influenced type equipment as in tires and sandbags to get stronger and increase endurance. This is the type of workout that will prepare you for competitions as in triathlons and mud run obstacle style races. Athletes, Military, Law Enforcement Personnel, Firefighters and any person who wants to be better prepared to tackle everyday life with a stronger, injury proof body. If overall strength and endurance are what you are looking for, and you like to challenge your body to new things, then this is the class for you.


Kettlebell Yoga

Prerequisite -  Completion of Fundamentals Levels 1-5

You will be guided through 25-30 minutes of yoga and then send your metabolism into Overdrive with a 10-15 minute MetCon (metabolic conditioning) and then you will end the class with yoga and stretches.    

Barbell Strength

Prerequisite -  Completion of Fundamentals Levels 1-2

Barbell Strength focuses on the basic barbell lifts such as the deadlift, squat, bench and standing press.

Barbell Blitz

Prerequisite -  Completion of Fundamentals Levels 1-2

This class will have a barbell lift in the higher rep range of 8-12 or maybe even higher sometimes. Followed by a classic Michigan Kettlebells conditioning work out. The barbell lifts will change weekly, unlike the Barbell Strength class where the lifts stay the same for 4-5 weeks. If Barbell Strength and Kettlebell Blitz had a kid together, this would be it.
